KWTX is forecasting hard freezing temperatures at night for Jan 19 - 24.  Please prepare exposed pipes and areas that are not heated.  KCWSC recommends opening cabnet doors so warm air can reach the plumbing under cabinets and wrapping exterior faucets.  KCWSC does not promote letting a faucet drip as this is wasteful, makes detecting true leaks diffuclt, and may lead to interior flooding if the drain line freezes or dangerous ice patches outside.
